COMPOSITION

Every scene can be interesting if you dare to use unique compositions.

LIgHT uNDER CONTROL

Whether you’re shooting indoors or outdoors, mastering light is essential. Don’t let natural lighting conditions dictate what your ideal photo should look like.

Focus on what's important

Direct the viewer’s attention to the most important elements of the scene while still preserving the richness of its context

Meeting on location
8:30h

A brief introduction of the group and a meet-and-greet with our millers.

Location and equipment
9h

The first step in on-location photography is understanding the environment and the conditions you’ll be working with. Our miller will guide us through the different floors of the windmill and explain their functions. This tour will help us decide where to begin our photographic journey.

Team project
9:30 -12:30

Once we’ve chosen the first scene, we’ll get hands-on capturing the image we envision. Together, we’ll work through a few shots, discuss how to tackle challenging lighting, and use the available equipment.

Lunch break
12:30h - 13:30h

The morning session is hands-on and focused, tackling tricky lighting, composition, and working with a model. Afterward, we’ll pause for lunch to absorb what you’ve learned, answer questions, and recharge.

Freestyle photo time
13:30h - 17:30h

After lunch, the fun begins: you have the knowledge, the tools, a model, and an authentic location.

Team up with other photographers and start shooting!
